As a further extension to linking to documents, it would be great if you could integrate with document servers like Alfresco or Knowledgetree.

That way, document management is left to those who target that specialty, giving us things like round-trip integration with MS-Office etc.

VP continues to do what it's strength is, which is manage projects.  Part of that management is keeping us informed of the relevant documents for that project - but not managing the actual documents themselves.

A vast majority of our customers don't have "document servers" or still want to keep everything in VP for different reasons. However, this is definitely something we can do but it would be on a case by case basis.

Managing documents is a part of the VisionProject feature set on which many customers rely, also some of our customers only use the document management functionality on some of their projects, so this module will continue to evolve in the future as well.

Perhaps you can describe more about the "round-trip integration with MS-Office" that you are interested in?
